Service description
QuoteGuard provides tools that analyse building and trade quotes to help users identify potential risks, pricing concerns, and areas that may require clarification.
The service is intended to provide informational guidance only.
Not professional advice
QuoteGuard does not provide legal, financial, engineering, or professional construction advice.
Analysis results generated by the platform are intended to assist users in understanding trade quotes but should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice.
Users remain responsible for verifying information and making their own decisions regarding building work, contractors, and project costs.
Accounts
Users may be required to create an account to access certain features of the platform.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Acceptable use
Users must not upload content that is illegal, harmful, malicious, or infringes the rights of others.
QuoteGuard reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the service.
Subscriptions
Certain features of the platform require a paid subscription.
Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis through Stripe and may be cancelled at any time.
If a subscription is cancelled, access will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
Uploaded content
Users retain ownership of documents they upload.
By uploading documents to QuoteGuard, you grant QuoteGuard permission to process those documents for the purpose of providing analysis and improving the service.
Uploaded documents may be used in anonymised or aggregated form to improve QuoteGuard’s automated analysis systems.
Service availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
The platform may be modified, updated, or temporarily unavailable during maintenance or system updates.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuoteGuard shall not be liable for any decisions, actions, financial losses, or outcomes resulting from use of the platform.
Users remain solely responsible for evaluating contractors, verifying quotes, and making project decisions.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time.
Continued use of the service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
